can you tell me more about botox/dysport?
Botox/dysport are FDA approved injections to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. There is little to no discomfort from the injections. It takes 3-7 days for results to become noticeable and maximum results will be noted at by 14 days. Everyone is different and may desire different treatment areas, so a complimentary consult will help to determine how many units you need. Typically, you can resume your normal routine immediately after the appointment. The treatment lasts anywhere from 3-6 months depending on the treatment you receive.
what can I expect with dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers produce instantaneous results for concerns such as hollow under eyes, jowling, laugh lines, lip enhancement, and more. Some discomfort can be expected, however we offer a comfort menu to aid minimizing pain and helping you to be as comfortable as possible. Depending on the type of dermal filler utilized, results will last anywhere between 6-24 months and sometimes much longer. It is possible that you may experience mild bruising and swelling post treatment, which will gradually resolve.
can i combine treatments?
There are many treatments that can be combined, however some should be avoided. For example, injectables should not be done the same day as microneedling, chemical peels should not be performed before or after laser facial treatments, and one should not receive wrinkle relaxers and then have a massage. We can help guide you as to what treatments may and may not be combined.
will my face peel heavily after a chemical peel?
Peeling skin can vary after receiving a chemical peel, as the peels are tailored to your desired results and downtime. There are differing depths of peels such as superficial, medium and deep. Peels penetrate into the skin and dissolve desmosomes, oils, and soften keratinocytes. Chemical peels help with concerns such as sun damaged skin, oily skin leading to acne, acne scarring, fine lines, wrinkles and more.
What is included in the weight loss consultation?
The weight loss consultation includes a physical exam, discussion of appropriate medications based on your past medical history, physical findings, and personal goals.
how long does it take to recover from microneedling?
Surprisingly, redness that occurs secondary to microneedling typically resolves within 24 hours, although it can sometimes last up to 72 hours. We offer three different types of microneedling to target irregular skin tone and texture, sun damage, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, crepey skin, and more. We can help you determine which is the best fit for you during a complimentary consultation.
can you help me with a skin care regimen?
Absolutely! Not only are we happy to help, but we also have two master estheticians on staff who specialize in skin care! Often times concerns related to the skin can be minimized, improved, or corrected by adopting a daily skin care regimen. We offer complimentary skin care consultations which include an assessment of your skin in order to tailor a regimen specific to your age, skin type, and concerns.
