Platelets secrete substances called growth factors and other proteins that regulate cell division, stimulate tissue regeneration, and promote healing. This platelet rich plasma (PRP) is obtained using a small amount of blood collected from your arm. This sample is spun in a centrifuge which separates the plasma from other blood products. The PRP is then applied into the treated area to further heal and allow the skin to regenerate more collagen production than standard microneedling.

Simply put, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a high concentration of your body’s growth factors that when injected or microneedled into the face/scalp/body, can repair problem areas that otherwise would not be repaired.

PRP is recommended in a series of 4 treatments, 6-8 weeks apart, for best results when treating acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. Single treatments can be used for collagen regeneration and overall complexion improvement.
